As a healthcare executive and physician leader with over a decade of experience, I am passionate about driving innovation in primary care, value-based care, and population health. As the Executive Director of the Primary Care Center at UT Health San Antonio, I oversee operations across 9 primary care locations ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care for patients in San Antonio and South Texas. My expertise lies in balancing clinical leadership, strategic healthcare management, and faculty engagement to advance institutional success.

I am a Professor/Clinical in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at UT Health San Antonio and in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Administration at UT School of Public Health San Antonio, the Senior Medical Director of Medical Management, and the co-Chair of the Mays Cancer Center/UT Health San Antonio Joint Cancer Prevention and Screening Committee. I hold an MD, an MBA, an MS in Health Services Research, and I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
